We deployed 2 x 45/90 Hussh Pods and a 30/45 Hussh Pod as the main source of power throughout a 2 week period within November & December 2024. The client required a BESS solution to lower their fuel costs and produce a more sustainable project on set by using battery energy storage to power their industrial heaters and lighting sets.
The TV & Film site operated on Hussh Pod battery for an average of 59% of the time available with the generator running for the remaining 41%.
Innovation and Sustainability
The total run time of the Hussh Pod BESS in the two week period was 184 hours for 1 x 30/45, 134 hours for 1 x 45/90 and 128 hours for 1 x 45/90, burning 4,460 litres of diesel in comparison to a total of 11,208 litres.
This has resulted in approximately 6,820 litres of fuel being saved at a value of £10,205 with a reduction of 17,361.51kg of CO2 across all 3 Hussh Pods on site, compared to when running solely on a diesel generator.
