Large construction projects often require the use of tower cranes for the movement of material throughout the site and to assist with the construction of the building and carrying heavy objects. Despite the obvious advantage of having cranes on construction sites, large on-site tower cranes require a large amount of electricity to power them when they’re in use. For all other times, the tower crane power supply requirement remains relatively low as only the tower crane cabin and in particular the aviation lights at the top of the crane need to be powered.
The Hussh Pod battery power units can be used for these low loads, ensuring that the crane is supplied with round the clock electricity for the aviation light and the cabin, or to even power up the crane if the access to electricity in the area is scarce or straight-up impossible.
