It’s National Apprenticeship Week this week!
The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2026 is ‘Skills For Life’ 📖
Throughout the week, we showcased our current apprentices at Power Saving Solutions and the skills they’re developing to further their competency in their roles.
Sarah Machin is currently enrolled on a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner apprenticeship. “[My apprenticeship] enhances my skills while driving meaningful improvements in Power Saving Solutions’ sustainability and corporate responsibility efforts”.
We’re extremely proud of her progress as she works towards her qualification at PSS.

Our Assembly Technicians Lewis Horsley, Tyler Wass & Ashton Green, are all embarking on their own apprenticeship journeys.
With their Level 2 and Level 3 Engineering courses, their apprenticeships are providing them with the opportunity to progress in their roles, not only professionally, but also on a personal level, with building technical competence, confidence, and transferable skills that support long-term career growth and greater responsibility within Power Saving Solutions.

Keenan Wilkinson has been part of the Power Saving Solutions team for just shy of two years.
He has recently embarked on a degree apprenticeship at the University of Staffordshire this year to expand his strategic skills in Marketing.
“I originally turned down the opportunity to go to university after I left sixth form as I felt my career would benefit more from an apprenticeship, and I was right! Fast forward to this year, and I couldn’t turn down working towards a degree whilst still earning a salary”.
