Power Saving Solutions UK: Recharged and Ready
As 2024 comes to a close, Power Saving Solutions UK reflects on an incredible year of growth, innovation, and investment in our people and technology. We’ve had such a wonderful year and as 2025 is vastly approaching, we’d like to share and reflect the key highlights that defined our journey this year:
1. Growing Our Team
This year, we proudly onboarded 22 new employees, nearly doubling our workforce! This expansion reflects the growing demand for our Hussh Pods, and our commitment to delivering industry-leading battery energy storage solutions. From expanding our business development team, to doubling our assembly operatives building our Hussh Pods.
2. Expanding Our Hussh Pod Fleet
Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do. In 2024, we added significantly to our fleet, introducing new 45/90 and 60/100 Hussh Pods in our hire fleet – resulting in a total of over 600 Hussh Pods in our hire fleet. But the highlight was the launch of our HV150 and HV175 Modular Hussh Pods, which were unveiled at our much-anticipated High Voltage product launch event. These HV modular units represent the next generation of energy storage technology, offering our customers greater flexibility, scalability, and efficiency.
3. Investing in Employee Development
Our employees are our greatest asset. This year, we deepened our commitment to their professional growth by enrolling team members in degree qualification courses, ranging from finance qualifications to engineering certifications. By equipping our people with advanced skills and knowledge, we’re building a stronger, more capable workforce for the future.
4. Enhancing Efficiency with Salesforce CRM
To improve our operations and provide a seamless experience for our customers, we made further investments in our Salesforce CRM systems. These upgrades have enhanced our efficiency, enabling us to better manage customer relationships and streamline processes across Power Saving Solutions.
5. Supporting Our Team with New Benefits
In 2024, we implemented a new Employee Assistance Programme and benefits scheme Vivup. This initiative reflects our dedication to fostering a supportive workplace, ensuring our team feels valued and has access to resources that support their well-being.
6. Supporting our charity ventures at PSS
Over 2024, we’ve had events and activities dedicated to raising money for our chosen charities The Royal Legion & Bassetlaw Food Bank, raising over £400 with summer and christmas bake sales, competitions, quizzes and more!
